There are a few other sequencing Core Facilities at Penn - see which one is right for your project
Choosing a Sequencing CoreDear Users,
The website will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, May 16th, 2012 between 5:00-5:30pm. Thank you for your patience.
FGC
Welcome
Is the FGC the Core you need?
Did you know?
The DRC/IDOM Functional Genomics Core and the PSOM Next-Generation Sequencing Core use the same systems for sample submission and tracking, so data can be shared seamlessly with collaborators at Penn and other institutions.
The DRC/IDOM Functional Genomics Core (FGC) offers microarray and high-throughput sequencing services for investigators associated with the DRC/IDOM.
When you are ready to do an experiment
- Create an account if you do not already have one. Your TessLA account will work.
- Fill out the experiment form
- We will contact you to finalize the experimental design
- We can provide technical details about sample and library prep
- We can prepare libraries for RNA-seq and exon-capture
- Bring your libraries to us for quantitation and quality checks
Once samples or libraries are submitted, track your samples' status then download or view the results in the browser. We can provide a preliminary analysis for most experiments. We can also help with data submission to public repositories.
